    Survey: 43 Percent of Adults Get 'Phished' - Other Tales of Phishing

    Next week Denver-based First Data Corp., one of the country's largest electronic financial transaction companies, plans to release survey results showing 43 percent of adults have received a phishing contact. Five percent of those adults gave up personal information.

    The article title is a bit misleading. Getting phished suggests the info was given up by 43% when in fact it's 5% (which stille seems rather high). What it does mean is that just under half of all the spam crap that people receive is actually a phishing scam.
