Cool Firefox plugin
....well I think so anyway. Been after this for ages, even posting here to ask about it. Found it at last.
The ONLY thing I prefer in IE to Firefox, is the option to run executable files (e.g. installers) rather than having to save them, then double-click them, then delete them when I'm done with them.
This plugin gives you the run/open option a la Internet Explorer

Hi,
I find the new update of Firefox a bit unstable, some times it hangs up on me.
Any of you guys had that trouble?
I am talking with respect to Windows.

Hi, it is running OK on Win 2000 SP4, I haven't tried it on XP yet.
Alakhiyar I actually prefer the download and run method because my internet connection isn't entirely reliable............... I don't mind downloading again, what I am afraid of is having a crash part way through an installation or update

I suspect not............... check out what you have running in the background..... in particular look at stuff that automatically updates or at least checks for updates.
Unfortunately there are still apps that really want you to run IE to update them they might need updating as well to be compatible with the latest FF?
When you say it "hangs" does it sort itself out or do you have to intervene?
Is there anything in the system logs?
