I found an extremely kewl book at B&N called Hacker's Challenge, which basically gives 20 different examples of a network/system being broken into and gives logs and stuff. You gotta try to figure out things like what happened, what exploit was used, when it started, etc...very kewl book!

Hackers challenge is part of the hacking exposed series of books all of which are very good reads

I have been reading Incident Responce (Investigating computer crime) I have found this title to have some great information, and really good links. I may post some if requested.

Incident Responce was written by the foundstone group. The same that put out hacking exposed. They have alot of information on their website "www.foundstone.com". If you would like some directly out of the book, just let me know. I usually check sites like "ntsecurity.nu & securityfocus.com for information" Other good sources are SANS for tutorials & white pages, and NSA for tips and guides on securing NT systems.
