    NTSC vs PAL

    Hi,

    If I bought a DVD from America which is obviously NTSC would I be able to play/watch it in the UK as the UK standard is PAL?

    If I would have to convert it to PAL could anyone give me a link to any web sites that would help me with this?

    I googled it but I couldnt find anyhting that give me a definitive answer!

    Hrmmm... This might be a good start.

    And this software may also help:

    The keyword is converting Region 1 DVDs to Region 2 (rather than using NTSC and PAL, which are more VHS standards IIRC)
