ports
Can anyone tell me what port 100 [newacct] is used for? I scanned a computer that sub/seven scanned me first, and I assume port 100 was open. The entry read: port 100newacct
[BNC] to access use/pass<password>. I telnetted to it(not to break in, just to mess with them), and I got a password prompt. I assume with the right password I would've been in. I wouldn't look good in prison clothes, so I didn't try. Anyway, what is that port used for? Thanks.

Well, I'm not sure what it's used for, but I searched google.com and the port definition was:
newacct 100/tcp [unauthorized use]
I'm not sure what the 'new account' and 'unauthorized use' means but, sorry. I'm running Windows XP, I scanned my PC but port 100 is closed.
