There is a recent tutorial that may help:
try this : http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=247833
Search google for adware and spybot & run them - they may help & will certainly be revealing.
Otherwise, some back with more details please - See this: http://www.antionline.com/showthread...hreadid=244225

Hi Simmo,
Ok mate there are numerous things you can do here:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
http://www.pcsecuritynews.com/
The new google tool bar is also quite useful as it has an inbuilt pop-up blocker.
http://toolbar.google.com/
I dont use messenger but im sure if you do a quick search through the archives you'll find some intstructions.
Also make sure your AV is up to date, Do a full scan.
Cheers V$D$

Simmo, I have had the same problem with this exact same website. Unfortunately the crafty sods are (ab)using the instant messaging facility inbuilt in windows to send messages to your pc. The best way to stop this is to:
1) Left click the start button,
2) Highlight the "Run" command and left click,
3) When the Run window appears type "services.msc",
4) The services window will appear,
5) From the list of options find "Messenger",
6) Right click on it and press "Properties",
7) Stop and disable the service.
This will stop the ads but will also prevent you from using your messenger service. It's one or the other unfortunately, but it worked for me.

I have emailed the @$$holes (unique email address) & told them any attempt to run popups on my systems is unathorised access & will result in legal action with a claim for punitive damages.
I also told them that any marketing info sent to the email address, or them passing on to anyone else, would result in legal action with a claim for punitive damages.
Everyone send them a similar email & they may get a wake up call.
