Linksys Routers & RDPing

Couldnt find anything on what settings need to be set in my linksys router. I am trying to RDP into my server at home from work. I set the linksys router to expose the server to the internet but this setting doesnt seam to be working. I can RDP into the server from within the internal network, so this makes me believe its the router settings. any ideas?

I wouldn't make the server world accessible unless you have to. What you should do is forward port 3389 from the outside to your server. Depending what version linksys router you have you can do this from either port forwarding or the gaming sections of the router config menu.
