Now that i've gotten your attention.
I'm currently working in a Computer Repair Shop, and because of my duties i would like to get to know the world of computer security a little more intimately ;)
at the moment firewalls AVG etc just confuse the heck out of me, but i'm sure from time and patience and a whole lotta reading i'm sure that i will learn, hopefully help during my stay here.

Welcome to AO. I suggest you take a look at the tutorials section first. Also look at various "clean up" posts, and securing systems. Like look at it from the answer first, you will probably find it quicker to get up to speed that way?
