Porn to child

About three weeks ago someone emailed my seven-year-old son a free offer of porn, i sent it back telling them that the owner of the email address was a child. It has now become obvious that this person has registered my child with every porn site on the planet forcing me to close the email address. So far my boy has recieved 300 emails including some of the most grotesque pictures that would make pain lovers proud. My response, apart from closing the email account, is to download and use as many mass mailing list programs that i could find, but i don't think i found them all. Anyone know of a few?

Whats the use of mass mailing list programs in your case? You should be downloading something like Norton Internet Security, which combines a weak firewall with a content controller...

You've experienced Spam. You need to set a Filter up in your Email Program.

And as Rewandythal asked, what would the use of a Mass Mailing list tool be? If you are thinking of something that "opts you out for their list" good luck. I have never heard of such a tool, and doubt that one exists. Also, set up two accounts. One for spam, one that you only give to ppl that you want to respond to.
Example:
SpamAccount@Some-Free-Email.com - Give this email to forms and such on webs, that require you to sign up for a free account.

JimBob@altaISP.com - Give this email to friends, and places, who you actually communicate with.

Just wondering, do you screen your son's e-mail? I hope I don't offend, but seven years old seems to be a little young for a kid to have his own account. Why not just let him use yours?

Sounds a little suspicious.....Me thinks a spammer is after the names of a few mass mailers he might of missed.


If that's not the case than I apologise. You don't need a mass mailer.....you need a filter. Who is the account with? Most mail servers allow you to block certain address' now days...

The mass emailers that i have used to register this person on 3000 mailing lists are DEATH AND DESTRUCTION 4, KABOOM 3, AVALANCHE 3
The reason i want to do it is pure revenge.
I cannot block Yahoo because i would end up blocking the epilepsy website mentioned above, not to mention half the planet

What you're saying doesn't make sense. You block individual address', not entire domains such as yahoo...You have just confirmed my suspicions....

Seven years old is too young for any email account in my opinon. Also, when getting spammed its best not to unsubscribe to it. Pressing unsubscribe is like letting them know that your account is still active and they will only ship your email off to more places.

Do not....I repeat....ABSOULTY DO NOT DO THIS. What you're doing is called Mail bombing. if you mail bomb you risk inciting a cracker war against you for one thing (which will lead to all kinds of trouble for you and your son that you don't want). It's also a Federal Felony, which means if you get caught you could be thrown off your ISP (or worse). What I suggest you do is CALL your ISP and ask to speak to the sysadmin. Inform him of the situation. He'll take care of it for you :)....DON'T MAIL BOMB

I'm not sure I understand this. You say your son uses the computer to log on to an epilepsy website. Ok. I understand why he needs to use the computer. But what does that have to do with him having an e-mail account of his own? You don't use an e-mail client to surf the web, you use a web browser.

I suspect he's just really pissed off that his 7 year old is getting slammed with porn and dosen't really understand the gravity of what he's doing. Hopefully my previous post will change his mind :)

Sue, if you told the person that the email account belounged to a child, andhe still sent porn emails, sue. I think that would be against the law.

Something's rotten in the UK...you are lying. Reasonable adults/parents want justice, not revenge. Mailbombing is illegal, and so is sending unsolicited porn spam to 7yr olds. But how could have porn spam gotten there, unless your supposed 'son' is visiting the type of sites that register his email address with spammers that send such things? My 12 yr old daughter has content restrictions, as should most children, especially when it comes to pornography. 1) Using outlook express to block emails is useless, all it does is put them in the deleted folder. they are still accessable.
2) Yahoo is also a website hosting company, they host a million and one websites.
3) I need to unsubscribe to the porn before they get to the email inbox.
4) My son has an email address because we encourage him to email any questions about epilepsy to the charity concerned. We also send emails to each other a million times a day to stop me worrying at work, and he can't use mine because the wrong email to the wrong person will get me fired.

6) I want Extreme Revenge on this person because he put my son on porn mailing lists AFTER i pointed out to him that it was a child.
6) Email clients (in my case outlook express) have no way of stopping emails with hyperlinks(like porn spam), as a result email clients can be used to access the web
7) I never said i wanted to mailbomb the infidel, i said i wanted to put him on mass mailing lists (that's what he did). Unfortunately the only software that do it are mailbomb programs that have the options to put someone on multiple mail lists.
8) My aim is to make him swim through as much spam as i had to.
9) i will happily forward the email that started it to anyone who wants it.
10) Putting a minor on multiple mailing list is not iilegal, and if it was it would be impossible to get a conviction because of the international bounderies involved.

Just a remark : HOW could this person know your son's email ? You say "someone" : do you think this some one know your son and has deliberately suscrine your son to this porn mailling list ? It could be someone you or your son know and who wants to a annoy you...

Well, i think you should just maby close the current account and get a kids emailing system. On the net there are tones of site offering child email services. These services carefully screen all mail preventing any obseen materials. I dont know of any at the moment but have a look around.

Dennisthemenace I think your story is starting to fall apart here. This leads me to believe that you’re some lame script kiddy trying to learn how to mail bomb people. If that’s not the case why haven't you just closed down you sons account and set him up with a crappy hotmail account? This problem isn't that complicated if you can't solve it on your own maybe you should start questioning your parenting skills. Sorry if that seems a little harsh.

check that the email account...e.g hotmail... hasn't got a share with third party box...& if they do make sure that it isn't ticked

why put them on a mail list anyway (as you sad you dont want to mail bomb, you want to put them on mass mailing lists....) if its some porno place... i doubt they even check those mailboxes, due to reasons such as this.

Where do you have your e-mail account? Hotmail, iName etc? If you have it at hotmail, just don't use it for 30 days, the account will be deleted and create another one with a similiar email adress. Revenge is out of the question, your not getting any mass mail prog's or URL's. Forget it, just create a new e-mail adress for your son.

I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. If your child is receiving Porn, you as a parent, have every right to be pissed. There are alternatives to "Revenge". First, contact your ISP and advise them what's going on, most large ISP's are quite willing to help stop this sort of thing. Second, report the problem to other agencies such as:Mail Abuse Prevention System or NATSMA or Abuse.net.

I am sure the child has got into porn sites and posted his email in places on them. People 'usually' don't just automaticly recieve X`treme amounts of porn out of the blue. As far as your son being old enough for his own Email... ...that is up to you.

im not gonna get into the whole mass mailer part, but unless you KNOW for sure there is sombody behind that email address i would guess that you are mass mailing a bot. there is probably nobody behind that address, and the reason your son is getting tons of spam is because you reply'd to the address(telling the box that it was active), so it added the address to its "send everything under the sun" list.

How will you sue a faceless spammer/mailer?

I understand the whole reVenge thing, but Yahoo can be set-up to filter the mailers e-mail.
And if he uses random e-mail addresses, you can filter other things too, like subject, part of email address, and heck..... if to extreme.... filter everyone and set the e-mails of those who can send something....
