I don't see a lot of old people. A few of them have banned status. Out of curiousity, did some kind of civil war happen here ?

Thank you kindly my dear friends, I don't really think about my age that much, other than it explains a lot of the experience I lay claim to.
I distinctly remember my grandmother saying: "You little boys never grow up; as you get older, your toys get more expensive" I still remember that, 50 years later
I cut my first code in 1970, it was Fortran 4E, 80 column punched cards......... none of these nancy boy display screens, and certainly no rodents :D We also used Algol 60W for the scientific, as opposed to statistical stuff.
I went to my doctor the other day and asked him for some Viagra eye-drops......................I just wanted to look hard :p
You made up for it since you came back!Quote:

Moira, that was Edinburgh Grandmother I was referring to................ my other one was from Dublin :D
I live in Bridlington, which is an East Coast holiday resort, and the biggest shellfish port in the UK.
I also have a place in Kingston-upon-Hull, a small "pied a terre" but very cool............ we even have the Army use my street for training:D
The army use our local Cheviot Hills, specifically the Otterburn ranges for training but that's about 40 miles from here.
Moira: yeah!... I'm making up for it ... there's more to come !
