Thats the last time I click on any link that you give :x
Hmmmmm,
It doesn't work in FireFox with "NoScript" or with IE8 and elevated security settings :DQuote:
Last Measure is a shock site created by the GNAA, a trolling organization. It uses javascript to display shock images(goatse, meatspin, lemon party, etc), play looping audio of a man saying "HEY EVERYBODY I'M LOOKING AT GAY PORNO!", and spawn multiple moving browser windows. Pressing ctrl, alt, or delete will cause a javascript alert popup which may intercept task manager. It also tries to send "hey everybody I'm looking..." and a link to last measure to everyone on your contacts list in outlook, and it sends whatever is on your clipboard to the GNAA for exploitation. The official version doesn't, but some versions of last measure contain malware.
If you ever accidentally click on a link to last measure, the key is to stay calm. If you freak out you're liable to break something or alert people surrounding you. Quickly press ctrl+alt+del and end your browser process before last measure loads completely. If you're too late for that, just turn off your computer.
Don't go to any site with xytmnd.com, zoy.org or nimp.org in its address.;)
I use VM for surfing so it didn't matter.. Plus I was using opera so not much happened..
Java at its current version 6.14 is still vulnerable with one unpatched hole..
Nihil : I HATE FIREFOX :x :p :D
Also I wonder why the site isn't in the list of black listed IP's I have.. Its a very comprehencive list with *huge* list of IP's
This is a very old prank, maybe as much as 5 years ago, which might explain why it is not on current blacklists?
I have just installed Opera 10 Beta, so I didn't use it until I have had a chance to check the settings.
Opera is one of those rare applications that I’ve seen that by default gives preference to security rather than functionality so trust me you don't need to fiddle with the settings that much .. ;)
Is the spec posting crap again ?
