Saving Part .pdf files
Hey Folks,
Got this li'l thing nagging me. I have rather large pdf file of 300 pages. However the page which are really useful and frequently needed are only 10. But since I don't know how to save these two pages seperately in a new pdf file, I am unable to send this file via email due to it's exceptionally large size.
Would be grateful if someone can help me with an online tool/software/workaround for cutting the pdf file.
My company IT policy doesnt allow for install of any third software and even if it did, i would've liked the sysadmn's written permission before installing it.
So please help.
thx.

You will need a PDF writer...
and it will depend on the security of the document also.

Well, I know that Adobe has an online tool that can convert a PDF to text (for blind users -- many text readers that the visually challenged use can only do straight text documents). Is that what you used, chizra?

Does the computer in question have Microsoft Office on it? If so then just print the pages in question from Adobe Reader using the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer, thus creating a TIFF image file (just change the Save As format from .mdi to .tif). Then you can use the online Adobe PDF creator from Adobe's website to convert the TIFF file back to a PDF.
