You probably can delete most, if not all, of them safely. Keep in mind though that some software might stop running without the adware it came with (kAzAa - not lite - being a good example).
It's kinda hard for us to advice on something we can't see, so you might want to post the ones you're having doubts about... :)

If your experience level is limited, and you are unsure what to remove etc. then a clean install may be the best option for you, especially with this thread you started here:

in mind. You should use a new password too.
You would need to back up any data you wished to keep of course.
If you decide to go down that route then I would suggest reading these tutorials before starting.

or you could make a backup copy of what you have now..... then delete the perisite files. the only problem is that if it affects your computer and you use the backup your back a square one again...
my suggestion is to fallow steve.milner's suggestion... however i would make a backup copy of your drivers

about 50 or so of them are as follows, (the object name varies by number or letter, but is the same otherwise:
BackWeb lite {C1A95B70-E795-11D4-B96F-0010A4FBBFC9} HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT type registry rated severe. i have all of these checked for deletion. i really don't want to do a clean reboot if i don't have to. also i read somewhere on my search to do a system search for files that end with .hta and .js. i have alot of these. i read some of them and one in particular looked nasty to me. i am going to try to paste it so ya'll can see it.
