I sit here drinking Smirnoff Ice (God bless Pierre Smirnoff) and I was curious as to what everyone elses favorite "spirit" was. I don't exactly consume alcohol on a regular basis but when I do, I like to do it right. Hehe....peace

Beer!!! Beer!!! Beer!!!
Gimme a B
Gimme an E
Gimme an E
Gimme an R
What do I like?!?! BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER
Okay, thats enough sillyness.. I like my beeer.... I had to much to drink last night... I'm in agony.... why all the blood, really people!?
Here, I'll make it security related...
I need a good firewall for my case.. anyone got any recommendations.. I'm tired of people stealing my beer.... it sucks, you buy a case of beer for yourself.. and only get to drink 18 of the 24.. its not fair.. someone please help me protect my beer...
My 2 fave tipples are..
Draft Beer (English style, ie: warm, flat and tasty!)
Irish Whisky (Paddys or Powers)
:drink:
Yum Yum!
A good Malt Liquor and Jack and Coke. By the way, I am 21 so it is legal here in the U.S. for me to drink.
Vodka, next year Im gonna be able to drink legally, 18 in good ol' Ireland here [we're a little fond of the drink you see].
whiskey!... pure clean malt whiskey (god bless Scotland for making the best whiskey in the world!).....
Of course JD isn't to bad either.... Cheers!
Bacardi makes the best rum around = )
but i dont know why everyone's stuck on "rum and coke"
it mixes much better with pepsi
As for beer,
American beer is like water = )
Canadian beer is good,
but so is forign beer, like Tuborg
mmmm... forign beer...
The best possible "beerwall" in my opinion would have to be your friend and mine, Jack Daniels. When your friends bust open the fridge, they will find this fine gentleman much more interesting than any can of beer. :bigsmile:Quote:

NOTE: No, I'm not a drinker, so please don't give me any of that "underage" crap.
If you're around PA, or some of the east coast states (NY,NJ,MD,DE), the best beer around has got to be Yuengling Lager.
I'm sure the Antionline crew knows what I'm talking about.
If you're ever in the area, you have to at least give it a shot. It's a ton better than scudwieser or girls light.
But, that's only the humble opinion of a local alcoholic.
Since im also an Irishman like Ennis..ye would probably think that i drink Guinness and Irish whiskey..but against popular belief most young Irish people like prefer cider or Lager..me i go for a Heineken anyday
We probably will end up drinking it when were 50 though.Quote:

heh, ya know whats funny? im not a true Irishman(only about 62.5% Irish and i was born in the US), but i HAVE drank over there with my Irish relitaves. they cant drink Irish whiskey. i can without a problem. it was funny watching these two guys around my age(19) take a shot of paddy and just go nuts talkin about how it was the foulest stuff they've ever taisted and such, then taking a shot of it and just lookin at them. also, i LOVE guinness...cold, warm, any way i can get it.Quote:

I would say Kentucky Four Roses, and as for beer. Any belgium beer will do. Especially Palm.
But American beer like Budweiser is nice too.
VODKA, i love that stuff, drink it whenever i can at parties :D
Black and Tan.....:drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:
A friend of mine is starting up a hobby of making his own 'mikeahol'. The first attempt failed miserably, smelled like grape bread. Little did he know that you can't use baking yeast to brew. The last few experiments turned out well though, him and I turned a bottle of sobe into arabian death liquor. That stuff will mess you up right, but it smells like ethanol. Oh well, if I'm still alive tomarrow, I'll know how to make it without dying.
Absolut Vodka and no pulp orange juice...yeeeaaa (Screwdriver)
And for all your drinking needs go to www.Webtender.com
get it..bartender....webtender..ha...ha.haha.ha....okay
And always drink responsibly that also meaning drive slowly
:hello:
I second that- where in PA are you, I'm in the PoconosQuote:

I usually hate Paddy Irish whiskey but with orange juice its quite nice.
As for it seeping through your clothes..
If you twist your t-shirt into a glass u might be able to get another shot out of it maybe :-)
God,people will really start to believe we are all alcoholics over here
Whiskey and orange juice - tasty!
I'm a guinness man myself, i can't believe you don't drink it ennis - its pretty tasty in belfast but in dublin - its delicious!
:D A fine white wine, Crown Royal, and some mountain brew!! These 3 can make for an interesting evening!
I'm Scottish and have too agree with you Ennis he was at the wrong bar..:chuck:Quote:

Ah.. Alcohol.. I used to be a big drinker, surprisingly.. or.. not so surprisingly in this day and age, when I was 15.. now.. I go to work and college full time, and hardly have enough time to sleep.. I find getting laid slightly more important than getting trashed..
BUT! When the moment comes, like the initial poster mentioned, Smirnoff Ice is most certainly my favorite of all drinks.. Next, I go with Captain Morgans Spiced Rum, Southern Comfort.. Rumple Minze.. I used to go with the Vodka - Beer Chaser, but.. that was back in the day when.. I would use illegal substances on a regular basis..
I'm actually a certified bartender.. but, I would never pay for a drink at a bar, I can not understand why someone would spend seven bucks for an ounce of liquor.. pathetic.. but.. when I'm mixing, I like red devils.. iced teas.. anything that.. would be worth the money if you were going to pay for it.. and.. I think I love all shots... and.. BEER!
=]:
Who needs alcohol when you can have Caffeine :)
Also, you'd better think twice about posting if your underage. JP will turn you over to the feds =D
i like to drink beer sometimes but that also only one glass ..otherwise
then i feel my head heavy and the hang overy stays for pretty good
hours...not allowing me to do any work, so i always drink some beer when
i attend some parties or some thing like that...
intruder... :borg:

I too am in the Poconos. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. Got to love the Pottsville Sewer Water (A.K.A. Yuengling). Who'd have thought that drinking water that has coal deposit runoff would taste so damn good.
I spent a few summers in wildwood NJ and that yuengling was the only thing i could drink - its not guinness but it ain't bad.
I'm a Dr. Pepper and Sprite man myself. My liver is my friend.
Here come the pioneers!
I think pete every Irish student has spent some time in Wildwood NJ :-)
Loveably called Childwood cos if my recollection is correct even a child could get served a pint in the pubs there
being canadian
ITS GOTTA BE BEER
Love our high test micro brew stuff, but it's MOLSON all the way
as for a good quality "beerwall" I find that when your buddies come over, All you have to do is load your beer.case into your hand file and hit Drink.exe.
werkz4me
Finally a topic I REALLY understand.
In no particular order:
1. Bombay Saphire Gin with lots of lime.
2. 100% Agave aged Tequila by our friend Jose Cuervo.
3. For late night sipping - Portwood Scotch. 14 year old scotch aged another 7 years in oak casks used to produce portugese Port. Nummy.
4. For desert I like a little known liquior called Celtic Crossing. Irish whisky sweetened up with some honey and other tasty ingredients.
Salude!

That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. very kool. Peace:D
ok...here's a qustion for the irish ones here:
in the us we have a drink. the name varries a bit, but its usually called either an "Irish car bomb", just a "car bomb" or a "belfast bomber". please dont take offence to the names, i DID find the name to be in bad taist, and im only 1 generation below the ones in my family that were actually BORN in ireland.
anyway, here is how its done(ive seen 2 ways):
you take a pint glass and a shot glass.
put a half pint of guiness in the pint glass(cause of foam issues...you'll see later).
now, either fill the shot glass with jameson, or make it half bailes half jameson(please excuse my horid spelling).
drop the shot into the pint glass and chug.
ok, here's my question: have you guys ever heard of it?(i kinda doubt it) its good stuff, messes you up quick(cause of the chugging part, i suspect)
Your right 8*B@ll i havent heard of that mixture but i might give it a try.I suppose by beer you mean lager in that mixture?
Here is one u should try but its not to be chugged really and in a 1/2 pint glass.
This is what a lot of my friends would have after they have got bored of pints late on in the night. Its called a black Russian
Website says Kahlua but i get the feeling my local leaves it out.
http://www.webtender.com/db/drink/3055
With regards to the word bomb and stuff ,us Irish arent that sensitive about that kinda stuff. Its actually a bit amusing.
Also in America i have seen some beers advertised with shamrocks wrapped around them and they cant be bought over here.Just good advertising ,think they associate us Irish as being drink experts or something :-)
ok, i fixed it so it says a half pint of guiness like it should...i wrote it up kinda quickly and forgot to mention that guiness is used.
I like Jack Daniels...
And I had a lot of last night before responding to the UK thread..
I had to delete my post this AM..
