:confused: Yes I Was playing around with JTR the other day , and of course i went into MS-DOS and then i typed in the command for John to get to work , but no go.Bad command or file name.Any Suggestions?

I had this problem too when my path wasn't set properly. It works fine with the path set as follows:
PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\BORLAND\BCC55\BIN;.
Hope this helps :).
Well my first and nly suggestion is that you make sure you're in the directory that JTR is, for example C:\john
is a very convienent place for it, and then try running it.
