What the heck you talkinb about? 2 things, first why would you want to? ISPs don't even stop perverts from accessing kiddie porn online so why they gonna care what you do? Secondly, no, there isn't cause if your ISP wants ta, they can log your activity and review it later, after all, all you internet activity has to go through their backbones. I may be wrong, but like I said, I don't think there is.
Use high levels of encryption. Larger ISP's tend not to be snooping on what your doing unless what your doing is suspicious Smaller ISP's admins may have more free time to check out what your doing.
Their backbones and also their servers
Nope.....

This has to be one of the stupidest thread I've seen in a while it ranks up there with how do I use Sub7! No you can't hide yourself from your I.S.P who the hell do you think gives you the ip address. DHCP is the TCP/IP protocol that automatically assigns and keeps track of ip addresses and subnet masks.
Even Tunneling proxy (also known as 'Proxy Chaining') servers is a old technique, but effective way to make yourself hard to trace. Anyway you look at your answer is NO!
He asked in IRC too... and I said something similar.
Basic answer: If "Hiding ur info" refers to "Hiding What Stuff You're Downloading", you *could* hide the exact stuff that you download through an encrypted connection, but your ISP would STILL be able to see from WHERE you downloaded it. In other words, the best encrypted connection to (FOR INSTANCE) www.i-want-secret-porn.com will NOT let them know the exact stuff you downloaded, but they will still know that you tried to connect to www.i-want-secret-porn.com. Period.
Let's watch this thread go suicidal... Grar. Must locky locky.
as far as addressing goes, no you really don't have much available to you from a ppp connection.
with regard to hiding transmission information, i know it's really just a matter of interpretation, but wouldn't some form of addressing tunnel (ie. vpn) prevent the isp from determining the destined host on the other end (ie. www.i-want-secret-porn.com); they'd only be able to pick out the vpn gateway.
-on the other end-
the vpn provider (could be considered an isp) would be able to track this usage in the same manner the dial-up isp would under non-tunneled channels.
It would seem to me that if you feel the need to hide from your ISP you must be doing, or trying to do something, that would be unethical, perhaps illegal. Why in the world would you want to hide from your ISP?
Methinks you have something serious to hide and you are at the wrong site to be doing that ****.
:D
before i do my part to make this thread dead, i'd like to say, their are many legit reasons why one would want to hide their actions and other info from their isp, like to keep from being profiled and targeted by marketers. however i dont think thats why hes asking.
