I thought i would start a thread as i'm curious to know what everyone has in there "Security Toolkit/s"
here are a few common things that can be found in my toolkit.
Some of mine are the same:
Nmap
Netcat
Putty
Cain
Wireshark
TCPDump
WinSCP
Metasploit
TrueCrypt
SSL Strip
Hashtab
Are you wondering about AV/AM as well?
Hydra
IPSorcery
Hping / Hping2 / Hping3
Nmap
IPTraf
Those are some heavy hitters I think. Hping and IPSorcery are incredibly good, and Hydra is right there too. I think those three tools are very high up on any list of tools.
hirens
killdisk
german police boot cd
knoppix live boot cd
Nessus
Kismet
Systernals
Do any of you use debuggers like Immunity Debugger? It's the only one I have used and I'm not sure if any of the programs you mentioned are debuggers.
I myself have
Hirens
UBCD
Immunity Debugger
Netcat
Fport
Putty
Wireshark
Metasploit
avira
MSSE
spybot
The group policy manager. And since people are just blurting out programs that have absolutely ****ing nothing to do with the integrity of computers...
minesweeper
notepad
MS-Paint
solitaire
MY list was good :) Besides, Notepad can be used to open files as text. lol. I'm currently using "WinAmp" to play "Demented Are Go" which is exploiting my love of Rock-A-Billy and Psychobilly.
