Using it as a remote administrator tool isn't too harmful if you absolutely know what you're doing. I know quiet a few network administrators who use it in their private LANs, since no one from outside the intranet can access the computers. In a nutshell, it's quite a neet little tool if you think about it. However, it get's it's bad reputation because if it's malaciuos use and abuse. All I can say is, it can prove to be quite usefull,
