Question about Blogs

OK...here's the question...and yes...I have scoured Blogger and google to no avail...all they say is you must upload images of the template to the same directory...

but they don't tell you where the frig it is...blogspot.com apparently has the files and I have no idea how to access them to upload anything...

I've downloaded some templates off the Net...these templates are in zip files...no problem to unzip...but in the zip files the templates come in two parts: text template and images...

I know how to insert and change the template...what I don't know is a good explanation as to how to insert the images...

any answers?
