Bank security software
User does banking for company...bank requests her to install.....it causes continued disconnects from network....mapped drives, My Documents redirect errors...SQL database disconnects.....
Removed software....all is well???
Anyone else familiar with this "security" software". Appears to monitor all windows APIs...continually runs in the background even when not connected to the internet??

Their website reminds me of a software company I broke into. They developed SCADA software.

Hey MLF,
I have taken the liberty of adding the missing "i" in your thread title............. hey, I even put a little dot on top of it :D:D
I guess moderators have to do something useful once in a while............... for me that would be a long while :lildevil:

No worries on the editing
"bad spellers of the world...untie"
Anyhoo....support responded to my "why I uninstalled your crappy software" and their solution is to disable some of the security features of the software
Typical is all I can say

I know right!? Can you imagine if I had waited a few more weeks for companys to download "that new release"?
-
our banks have started with this rapport - some of the people I have spoken to have had issues with it (dont know the actual reasons).

My bank has suggested I install this as well.
Reading the tales of woe across the internet, I will not be installing this.
I've written to my bank to ask what their policy on me refusing to install this software is, especially should I become the victim of cybercrime.
I suspect if I don't get a satisfactory answer I will be moving banks yet again.
Regards,
Steve
