port/firewall problem
alright i just got WoW, installed it, and tried to run it when i got an error message that occured:
ERROR #134 (0x85100086) Fatal Condition
Program: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Unabled to establish a connection to socket: The attempt to connect was forcefully rejected.
Then a long description of the error comes up, asks u to describe what was happening when the error occured but when u try to send it it says a connection couldnt be made to the server. here is the error message:

I checked on the technical support website, opened all the ports on the windows firewall forwarded all the same ports to my wireless router and i still get the same error message. any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with this specific game, but have you tried to apply all updates? That game has been out for a while, and I know that there are almost always updates to games like that.

the updates are downloaded through another add-on app called Blizzard Downloader which also has specific ports that it downloads to which i have also opened, and it still wont connect.

I'm curious, What vid card are you running? What CPU is in your box?

This could also be a dodgy install. First thing would be to uninstall, reboot and reinstall.
You are still able to download update files from blizzard.com for the game, you do not necessarily need to use the autoupdater.
Check the read me file for known issues with particular hardware - there is always a list for graphical games.
I'm also with shatteredsoul, what specs is your pc?

This could be a number of things ..
Make sure you have your OS Sps and updates,...update your drivers, video mouse, NIC etc.
