Rootkit Detective: Beware!!!

McAfee launched their new anti-rootkit product on Thursday:

It should be approached with extreme caution as it is not your average "fire and forget" no brains application. You are likely to get a lot of false positives as it "learns" so just deleting things that it questions is a pretty sure way to trash your system.

I would recommend that you treat it similarly to HijackThis! and thoroughly research what it turns up before taking any action.;)

too bad its not vista compatable.
Plenty of other rootkit detectors that are vista compatable, I'll stick with those.
