Can't access Live Chat

I've got a post a few below about obtaining root. Here is another question. I can't access the live chat because the network I'm on makes me go through a proxy server. Is there a way around this so I can access the live chat and other programs of the sort. I like to play video games at work, but the proxy server won't let me. The server is running on win2k. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, As for the chat that can be bypassed using socks2http and multiproxy, socks2http translates socks requests into http ones, so you can put up both programs (having socks2http get the proxy from 127.0.0.1:8088 and it will bypass the proxy)
