What exactly is www.word-of-mouth.org ?

I got an e-mail from this site saying someone had anonymously submitted a report about me. So, using my spam email address (the email address I use to sign up for things so as not to attract spam to my everyday account) I signed up to view it, and never got a reply, for 2 days now.

what I find odd is, if you type random things in to the email search it finds reports, they all vary, but always were submitted at 6:00 - 6:59 am/pm at any given date.

This is a pretty outlandish site, I mean, if the implications are hitting me correctly, it's for profiling people via/ the internet, which correct me if I'm wrong, is illegal due to privacy acts and liable.

Anyway, what are some of the resident security buffs opinion on this site?

PS: If this is in the wrong part of the forum, sorry, tried my best to find the right place for it.

I think this illegal and they spy out your personal data's, and use them for advertisement and such crap....but who would submit such a report?

Personally, I don't know, nor do I care heh. My pupose was to make this site known so maybe someone here with a inkling of knowledge about it, or other sites like it, could discuss what the implications of it are. Put it to you this way, you have to sign up for the report, which means paying someone.

This is done through paypal, not exactly the most legitimate of services.

Also, if you take the string, and type random email addresses in, at various domains, you get a results.

I'm thinking this is some sort of elaborate e-mail collector, for spam purposes, but then again, I could be wrong.
