i think antipoints is reporting incorrectly again..
example ? i dont really get what you mean
At a guess )seeing as you seem to have only a few antipoints), I'm assuming you're wondering why your anti-point assignments are turning up as grey dots and not counting towards the amount you've given out? If so, you need to have 50+ positive antipoints in order to assign them to others and have them count for something.
Apologies if I've guessed wrong, but you didn't say what the problem is and the above scenario seems the most likely, seeing as it's the question asked a lot about antipoints by people with about the same number of APs as you.
here's my problem
when im at the home page, i see this:
http://home.jetherson.com/1.gif
but when im on the forums, i see this:
http://home.jetherson.com/2.gif
im confused :(
That happends to everyone who signs up, once you get 50 positive points it will go into the middle
ic..
ok then. thanks for the help peeps.
i'll just beg for some antipoints for awhile till i get 50.
:)
Actually begging for them is a bad idea :( Earning them by answering peoples questions is the correct way to go.
I've just given up on anti-points.
I've given tones of good ones out and my little meter says I always give out bad ones. I don't think I've ever even given a bad one. Go figure.
It sounds like a neat concept, but...
Whatever.
Mykol: You are in the same position as jetherson - you need 50+ positive antipoints before your assignments will count.
And 30 posts that is another important thing.
yeah.. there are some oddities.. the "user tends to assign" meter in your actual posts don't match up for newbies.. and i'm not sure about what combination of posts and points you have before it get's itself in sync.. it's sort of a bug.. but at this point we'll have to say "it's a don't care" as it was something that JP was here to see and I doubt Jupmedia will go to (and i don't blame them) the effort of trying to fix it.
