Hi all,
Attached is a log, anyone see anything to be concerned about.
Jinxy,
I dont notice anything that seems out of place with your hijackthis Log, everything seems to be legit no cause for concern.
arise
It's not my log, and i didn't see anything either. The more eyes on the log though the better as far as i am concerned.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
me neither. alot of useless stuff load btw. but all look legit. any suspicious?
The red sheriff entries should go. You will probably have to disable whatever protection is in place to do it though, otherwise HJT won't remove them:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...ch/search.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...//my.yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...ch/search.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust...//my.yahoo.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about:blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cust.../www.yahoo.com
Once you get those cleaned, you might have a CWS infection show up. Hopefully not.

Cheers!!
Thanks guys, groovicus. Thanks for the info on Red Sheriff.
The problem with the box the log came from is, I believe is unrelated to spyware/adaware. I posted just to rule the possibilty out.
The problem is with an online game (infantry). The lady keeps getting booted from the game with an exessive frame lag error??
Oh well time to use google.
from manufactures help:
Quote:
I have horrible frame rate playing Infantry. How can I improve my FPS?
Symptoms of low FPS is a choppy-like screen, skipping and sometimes even the monitor freezing up indefinitely. Some of the common modifications include:
Try switching your video mode. Sometimes playing on Windowed Mode provides better FPS than Full Screen, and vise versa. This can be accomplished through the Resolution options outside and in-game. You will have to be using 16-bit color to access Windowed Mode.
Lower your resolution. This typically improves your FPS, especially on very small screen sizes.
Install the latest drivers for your video card and monitor.
Upgrade to the latest version of DirectX.
Under View -> Advanced Options at the Zone Selection Screen, make checkboxes beside: Show Frame Rate, Render when window is in background, Triple Buffer, and Avoid Page Flipping. This is not guaranteed to work, however. Play around with the settings if required to see what is best for you.
In-game, goto: Main Menu -> Options -> Graphic Options. Make the following changes:
Fake Alpha Blending - Yes
View line-of-sight - Never
View Line-of-sight Blended - No
Obscuring Wall Display - Solid
Show All Thrust/Smoke - No
Show Weapon Trails - No (NOTE: Yes will make the game look better)
Show Banners - No
Energy Bar - Off
Again, play around and see what works.
