Personally I don't think I would trust any hardware crypto, especially ones that use a mix of propriatary and open source algorithms.

are there any known hacks for this device
Not that I'm aware of. But given the companies implication that the US government (though admitedly they don't say what parts of it) use it, it is doubtful except for perhaps other countries' governments or our own. at least that probably goes for the "more secure" chipsets they offer.
