Firefox Question

I just finished downloading Firefox Setup 1.0.3.exe ... I run the executable file to install Firefox ...But once it's "done extracting and verifying the integrity of the archives" ... Nothing happens ...

OS = Windows 98 [ Older box I have ]

Yes I have checked for viruses , spyware and the sort but I can't seem to figure out what's going on ...

Uhhh I swear I'm starting to dislike Firefox it seems that everytime I try to install it on a computer it never works right ...

Update : I installed IE with SP1 and now the setup for Firefox works ... weird huh ...
