Mac os X question
I'm aware that this has got nothing to do with security but it's a problem never the less.
I have a problem with emptying the trashcan. When I try it just says that I don't have permission to delete the files in the trash can (I'm the administrator on the machine). The files are created by some old user And i was wondering if I could chance the ownership of the files in unix somehow?

The admin account on OS X is not all powerful. You will first have to enable the root account in OS X, log off as admin and then log in as root in order to delete these files.
For security reasons Apple recommends you disable the root account whenever you do not really need it.
Thank you for the help thraklezog, I found a alternate way to do this I dowloaded a program called BatChmod. (wich runs under osx) It has a opption called force emty trash ;) and overeall a very usefull prog. But thanks anyway again
