Well I just signup myself and have already posted to a few questions.
I joined basically to help people with their technology problems. I currently am a freelance security consultant in Las Vegas, NV. I work the old fashion way by trying to hack into my clients networks. Hacking your own system on a regular basis and keeping up-to-date on vulnerabilities IMHO is the only way to keep networks secure nowdays. Yes installing Vulnerablility Assessment Tools, IDS, Firewalls and such have there benefits, but you CAN NOT full depend on them.
I see there are alot of students on this forum that are looking for information and help and that is great. I hope I can bring good insight into any discussion I participate in.
