Hey Hey,
I was wondering about that before the edit SwordFish :P heh..
Anyways since you said Macromedia won't work... I'd tend to agree with SodaP... Although I haven't been to their site in ages, it's possible they use flash on it and that would cause a problem.. which would mean you may have a hard time accessing the pages that SwordFish posted.. If So.. I'd try the download.com links

Hey Hey,
What in that error message lead you to believe it was Flash related? Where did you come up with that... Now it definately sounds more like a browser hijack, or some sort of malware... I'd run HijackThis and post the results here.
If those had been SSL sites, I'd almost think it was a problem with several of your dlls related to SSL...
Peace,
HT

i figured it was flash related because i can view most sites but the ones that i cant are usually graphic related. here is my log: Logfile of HijackThis v1.98.2
Scan saved at 2:00:17 AM, on 11/11/2004
Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180)
well i will be damned it WAS flash that i was lacking... i guess i couldnt view some sites for graphical reasons but now that i have flash and shockwave i can see ALL the graphics on ALL the websites lol this is a relief. but im not sure if my hijackthis log is good or not so please feel free to comment on that.
