A Deletion Problem
Ok, I made a thread in "roll call" as a test, ( I just now learned how to "quote" things and i wanted to make sure i did it right) so anyway now i go to delete that useless test message and i get this:
You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

im logged in as myself ( the texan) so how come i cant delete it?
Just a guess, but go back to the main page, refresh it and see if you are still logged in...........I sometimes get that problem if I have not been active for a while?
Nihil, no dice. I am logged in properly did the refresh. then I went back to roll call and tried to delete my thread and i still get the same message. do you need a screen shot or do you understand the message im getting?
No problems mate, I just mentioned when I get that message sometimes................obviously you have a different situation...................
who mods Roll Call do you know? I can have them delete it for me
Edit/ im contacting MsM to have her delete it for me. I dont want my useless posts cluttering up our wonderful AO lol :D
Are you using a tabbed browser, perhaps?
If not, you cannot change it.
Not because you are NOT using a tabbed browser, but because you are trying out a new feature, which this board knows you know nothing about, so it gladly saves all your silly goofball mistakes to trumpet to any passerby who will then roll on the floor and laugh out loud. And we thought computers were just electricity and metal bits.
Edit: This is a joke, get it? A JOKE!"
(a computer doesn't know)
Firefox is a tabbed broswer is it not? so i guess i am using one. I dont know about your theory of keeping my post around for others... it was just my stupid post that said "test" and all i tested was that i knew how to use the "quote" function properly ( I do now!)
thank you. but can you tell me what the problem was?
No, I haven't checked it out yet. But on most of our forums registered users cannot delete threads. I would assume it's the same here.
