Auditing Windows shares
Hey, gang, long time no see.
Got a quick question that probably has a longer answer. We are looking to set up some kind of audit process to see who is accessing what file shares on our Windows servers. We have about 150 users.
If we set this using Group Policy, how big of log files (roughly) will that generate? And is there a better way than Group Policy?
I would think GP would be the correct response but im not sure how big the log files are, I haven't had the need to audit shares before ...
