I saw the cover picture of the book on Amazon.com, the first word that came into my head: sterotype. The people that bought it off that site say it's "great" and "really informative."

I will be getting a Linux box soon, and I'd like to know what the first programming language I learn should be. C/C++, Perl, PHP, etc. I would welcome all suggestions.

Does anyone know of any good Linux compatible hardware firewalls? I was looking at some units from D-Link, but I don't know if they're compatible.
