yes, it only resets its self when i restart the computer, once ive logged onto window i dont have any problems that occur its just when i restart the pc, it resets its self and sometimes freezes on...

ok dude ive got to the welcome screen and windows is installed properly, i changed the psu and the cdrom. Sometimes thou when i restart the computer it is still resetting its self at different times...

ever thing is new exempt the fdd hdd cdrom(s) and psu, i removed the fdd and cdroms and it booted ok, dont wanna sound silly but whats the next step i need to take?

ok i have upgraded everything m/b, mem, hdd, gcard, cpu, sound exempt fdd and cdrom and psu 400watts. When i install windows on the hdd it formats ok then installs windows files, after it resets it...

Excellent help guys esp nihil, turned out to be the ram, speed was too slow only ddr 333 512mb, when i changed 2 1gb ddr 400 sorted thanks

Yes it was a fan that came with the processor and had a small amount of heatsink on the bottom.
The fan is spinning
psu is 400watts, cpu intel pentuim d, mem 512, m/b rs400a, gcard 512 ati rad...

I tried to re-install windows but the pc is reseting its self, i dont even have time to boot into the bios or enter sys recovery. Do you think it could be the cpu over heating or maybe there isnt...
