ok..i tried all that stuff....appearantly the HD was screwed up..the fdisk/mbr command didnt do anything.....they had no boot disk, so i couldnt do much in that area......i suggested they go buy a...

ok.....im home now....my brief vacation is over..
today i will try all teh above suggestions and let you know what worked, and what happened..

Hello all...
i got a problem with a computer. A friend of mine bumped it over, and it appearantly hurt teh HD. whne it coems up it goes to the Win load rutine, but then it comes up with a message:...

ok..problem fixed....i hit F8 (accidentally probably) and i logged in on safe mode. i undeleted whatever i had delted, and ran sys restore (twice) after that i had to reboot again, load standard...

bluscreen is just a blue screen....i can hear the windows loading sound, after that nothing...
how do i run fdisk??? i cant get to the dosprompt?

when i boot up it just brings up a blue screen

I think im going to study on TCP/IP first and tehn pick up somethign on computer languages (C++).....
