    ok finally figured it out. even tho i was logged...

    ok finally figured it out. even tho i was logged in as admin i still had to go into permissions for the key and set full control. after that i was able to delete it all. thanks for your quick reply....

    can anyone tell me about acshield. it was on my pc and i used uninstall to remove it but there are still registry keys i cannot remove. how can i delete these? regedit 32 says unable to delete this...

    i used zonealarm (the free one) and later za pro on a 98se pc and had no problems with either one. haven't tried it on xp yet. i quit using it cause it is kind of a resource hog.
