under certain circumstances i am forced to use only telnet to access a ftp server...........
i did connected using
#telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 21
USER and PASS works
but LIST doesnt work... it says...

try out knoppix or NTFSDOS mount your partitions and floppy drive copy the SAM file and use L0phtCrack to get the password

Nscan, nmap, port****er................but probably if u donnot want OS detection etc..........go for nscan if u want to work in windows...i found it to b very fast..........for linux...u can use...
