if you someone can crack your pgp setup (asuming you look after your keys eg: secret on floppy) then a password protected zip file is a piece of cake.
Trust pgp for stuff you want to keep private...

that only works if you take the time to clear down things like the recent documents folder and... if the files are m$ish (word, excel etc) then you can open recently used docs from the programs...

zip files are *fairly* easy to crack, but if the resulting file is below 1.4Mb then move it to a floppy and keep the floppy with you.
PGP is a lot more secure and versitile.

use PGP to either encrypt individual files or create a PGP Disk to store your personal stuff.
