I know this is not to security based but i was wondering why blizzard did not include a single player mode so I could plan my characters. Is it based on they were getting hacked too much in diablo 2...

no the dir is the desktop and hex editing would did no good due to the fact the file has no value. Emm tried deleting the desktop folder the files still remain. Im thinking a fresh install is my only...

yes googled to no end yet this file seems to be either malicious or may have been created by microsofts wonderful goback software....my theory on the matter may be that at one time or another system...

Well the tricky party is the files seem not to have an extension so no windows does not recognize them.....some sort of phantom file....

My answer would be to have help desk verify that they are who they say they are and/or not give him the time of day if he doesent show up on Caller ID. Generally you call help desk they dont call you!
