I've done this on the standard template and it still reverts to TNR font.

Secondly, on the email template from Outlook, there is no facility to select a default...

I have exactly the same issue, but the good advice above makes no difference.

The problem I have is that whenever I change the default font from Times New Roman, it's OK for that document, but...
