ok im sorry but im a little bit confused. Are you saying you should do a ping sweep to see all devices on the network then use tracert to find which devises are routers?

yes it has a default passwork which i of coarse i changed as soon as i got it. but it only has a web sever and i want a shell on it so i could do thing such a set up a inds and a packet sniffer on...

i could see it being used to transfer info from one system to another and then being imediatly destroyed. For any thing more than that i think it would be to unreliable

make sure that their not both bound to the same port you cant lnk from one too another if its bound to the same port
as for your batch file makesure that dos can see netcat without being directed...
