I've just installed FreeBSD 5.0 and my X doesn't work.I've tried xf86config and still the same problem. I have a S3 Trio 64V2 gx/dx and i was wondering if i have to get some drivers for it to work...

i have a problem in Slack 8.1 .I have a Savage 4 with 16 MB i tried all the config scripts even the old ones from slack 8.0 and still a couldn't configure it so please help me

I think it would be better to just buy a distribution and install it from the cd.It's easyer then downloading all the packages and installing them manual.

No U don't need a floppy.Both WinXp and Linux boot from Cd and their instalation doesn't require a floppy.
