first when did this start happening and what os are you running
if this is quiet recent then start your computer in safe mode.
if you are running windows xp it gives you an option of restoring back...

you can get info on a domain by typing in location bar of your browser
http//205.177.25.9/cgi-bin/whois?hotmail.com
replace hotmail.com with the domain name of which you want to get info.
