Tcp and udp are ports whichs services use.
Firewalls block these all the time.
don't bother to much on these messages
If they block them, the firewall does it's job.

I think that is one of the worse things that can happen to someone

I also go for best of breed.
I doubt if a program has so many function, it will do it's job very good.

Did you ever get emails with attachments from them which you openend?
If not, There would be a very small chance that you would have a key-logger of trojan on your computer, Atleast not from them.

Some routers use filters.

Did you execute the server on the victim's machine? (if not, do so :)
Does the vitims pc have a firewall. (if so, turn it off)
