Most (even small) practices I have seen do have a small network. What about the scenario where theres a server but theres a huuuge giant lock on the door so the theif breaks into the doctors office...

First off i also have to disagree with the skiddie comment, the use for modded xbox's ive heard about most is a nice cheap webserver :D, That aside aint all these Halo 2 fans with modded boxes...

Surely it wouldnt be long before someone just plugged a cable from their line out strait into the line in, I mean they cant stop you sharing your home recorded stuff can they?

Surely if there was a system for creating a check value then anyone could come along and make any old string (without a check value) then work out what the check value would be using the same...

I presume you have some kind of manual that came with the router, If so that will more than likely tell you how to do it.

I find the best way to start learning such a vast subjact is to read a forum or website like AO, Read anything and everything...that way you will probably start to notice some things intrest you more...
