How would I run a 'Recovery'?
I did not run a virus checker on it, I can try and do that. If the system is corrupt it is definitely 'corrupt'.

I think that it's within specs to run XP, but the problems arose after a thunder storm. Granted she said it was off, but that doesn't protect it much from power bumps. I think I will go the replace...
