I ran into a similar issue with MP and normal MP3's, I upgraded to the newest version 9 and all has been well.

Just a thought...
I run a few sites and use www.godaddy.com to get domain names. If you indeed do not want to do anything illegal, well than for less than ten dollars a year you can rent a domain...

are you reffering to IP default gateway?
Cisco IOS runs on routers, Cisco CAT OS runs on switches, Switches can forward port traffic, Routers will route it based on destination IP.

They have the advantage...
However, There may be a chance that you can do a control+alt+delete one time and end task on the program they are using.
But, They may have configured around this too...
