Don't laugh Nihil, it just does it based on a list of file extensions, the people at my place are not usually malicious and it just stops things being automatically downloaded without their knowledge...

I am using IE6 SP2 and it conducted 20 tests
The first time I did it, it found 1 high risk vulnerability but that was only because I had forgot to update my java plugin, oops .

there is also pslist and pskill from the sysinternals guys, you can manage and list remote processes too, very useful :)

Cool, IE6 SP2 blocks it by default (see screenshot), is this the first new vulnerability found that XP SP2 is not vulnerable to ?

Having lots of admin accounts is bad practice but does not cause any problems apart from expanding the area of attack for skiddies to try and crack admin passwords as far as I have seen :)

To keep things tidy I would probably use VBscript all the way in this one, just because I think thats the best way of doing the shortcuts in this case and I would try and keep it to just one logon...

In group policy you can specify a logon script for different users groups etc, just make a batch file on the server and tell it to use that.
Multiple drives ? no problem

I am more a fan of using batch file for simple things like this rather than over complicating things with vbscript. To map a network drive use the 'net use' command
