Well the look and feel of 2003 Server is the same as XCP...as is the file and directory structure...the base OS is XP.
I do realize the the DataCentre and Enterprise editions may have some...

We run xp virtual machine in windows 7 for any incompatibility issues...one older version engineering app wont install\run in windows 7 so is run in the virtual xp. Everything else runs in xp mode...

Sounds like hes trying to send through your exchange without being connected to your network....by default exchange will block it ...because it thinks its spam trying to relay. I dont suggest...

personally i would go with one of those remote machines that reset every time you log in....that way the local device is reset......
